  • Razors are an oft-misunderstood tool in the hair cutter’s arsenal. Knowing when and how to use a razor can establish a stylist's ability to create unique, one-of-a-kind looks for clients.

While razors are often used to create texture and movement in the hair, when used correctly, they can also be effective for creating a perfect one-length haircut. Razor hair cutting allows stylists the freedom to create classic looks with signature detailing, tapering, weightlessness and subtle shapes.
