This Classic Cutting workshop will bridge the knowledge gap between understanding the head shape and the real cause-and-effect of elevation, graduation and over-direction.

While trends change from season to season, one trend that never goes out of style is a haircut that compliments its wearer and showcases a client’s best features.

You will learn:
• The skill to look at a picture of a haircut and the tools to map out and achieve the required shapes,
• How to create the styles and textures your clients want.
• The foundational knowledge that will allow your creativity to flow

Classes are held at Studio Elan, a busy, yet intimate hair studio in New Canaan, Connecticut. Elan’s Classic Hair Cutting Class offers students a solid foundation on which to elevate your hair cutting skills to the next level.

Class fee includes mannequin, lunch and Educational take-home folder with head-sheets and class notes.
