This one-day Contemporary Precision Hair cutting class will give new hairstylists a foundation upon which to build their repertoire of cutting techniques and provide experienced stylists the opportunity to elevate their skills so to improve client retention and profitability.

The class will cover and include:

• The consultation: Great services begin with great communication between client and stylist. Establish your expertise, evaluate your client’s hair with confidence and formulate a plan to enhance your client’s natural assets.
• Finishing techniques: Showcase your work with Elan’s blow-dry methods, perfected during her time in Italy. Speed and technique keep clients’ looking straight-from-the-salon for days following their visit.
• Receive individualized feedback on your hair cutting skills and a plan for continued improvement
• A signed certificate

Classes are held at Studio Elan, a busy, yet intimate hair studio in New Canaan, Connecticut. Elan’s Contemporary Hair Cutting Class offers students a birds-eye view of what makes a successful stylist. Class fee includes mannequin, lunch and Educational take-home folder with head-sheets and class notes.
